WHEN GOD CHOOSES YOU…

When God sets you apart for a special purpose, the journey is often marked by challenges. This process of sanctification—where God removes the things that no longer serve you—comes with growing pains. It’s uncomfortable because He is pruning away the old to make room for the new. You may face spiritual, physical, and mental attacks. Why? Because the enemy is losing his grip on you and he doesn’t like it. But take heart, because every battle you endure is a sign that you’re stepping into your God-given destiny.

Sanctification isn’t just about what you leave behind; it’s about what God is preparing to give you. As He refines you, He’s molding you into the person you’re meant to be, someone who can carry the weight of His anointing with grace and strength. The key is to stay close to God during this time, even when it feels like the world is against you. You are being prepared for something greater, something divine.

How to Stay Close to God Through the Process

  1. Daily Prayer and Worship: Make time to talk to God every day. Start your morning with prayer, thanking Him for His guidance and protection. Worship shifts your focus from your struggles to God's greatness.

  2. Immerse Yourself in Scripture: God's Word is your weapon against the attacks of the enemy. Meditate on scriptures that remind you of God's promises and His faithfulness. Verses like Isaiah 41:10 ("Fear not, for I am with you...") will remind you of His constant presence.

  3. Surround Yourself with Godly Community: You are not meant to walk this path alone. Find people who will pray for you, uplift you, and encourage you to keep moving forward. Accountability partners are essential.

  4. Guard Your Mind and Heart: Protect yourself from negativity and distractions that pull you away from God. Be intentional about what you allow into your mind—whether it’s through social media, conversations, or entertainment.

  5. Trust God’s Timing: It’s easy to want to rush through the process, but God’s timing is perfect. Patience is crucial. Trust that every challenge you face has a purpose in shaping you for the future He’s designed for you.

When you stay close to God, He will guide you through the fire, and you will come out refined and ready for your calling. Let the process do its work, because the promise on the other side is worth it. You are chosen, anointed, and destined for greatness. Hold onto that truth.
